Alpha Terpineol (Natural)

Terpineol can refer to any combination of four mono-terpenes, the most common of which is Alpha-Terpineol. Alpha-Terpineol is found in a vast array of plants, including lilacs, pine trees, eucalyptus, and functional botanicals. It is commonly used to create many fragrances is in products like soap, lotion and perfume.

However, because it is commonly found with high levels of pinene, it can be difficult to detect due to pinene's much more pungent aroma. Alpha-Terpineol has a very sedating and relaxing effect, leading some to believe that it is responsible for the "couch-lock" that results from certain strains.
