Beta Caryophyllene

Beta-caryophyllene is a sesquiterpene with a warm, spicy aroma of black pepper and clove over a dry woody base. Larger than the monoterpenes, it evaporates more slowly and carries the finish of a profile. It is abundant in black pepper, clove, hops, and cinnamon.
