Terpene Profiles, Terpene Flavors, and Isolated Terpenes - Essential Terpenes

Introducing a new name, new look and new products for our Extract Consultants terpenes line: Essential Terpenes. Essential Terpenes contains our extensive range of isolated terpenes, terpene blends and bases β€” and the new to the lineup Solvent Free Terpene Flavors.

So what’s new with Essential Terpenes?

Solvent Free Terpene Flavors

Our solvent free terpene offerings are now broken into Solvent Free Terpenes and Solvent Free Terpene Flavors. This separation provides more definition between blends that are composed strictly of terpenes and blends that utilize both terpenes and natural aromatic ingredients to impart a flavor that harmonizes with the base terpene profile.Β

Built to the same strict standards solvent free standards as our Solvent Free Terpene Blends, our Solvent Free Terpene Flavors also contain natural aromatic materials such as esters, aldehydes and ketones, in addition to terpenes. These ingredients are common components of many essential oils, and critical elements to the natural aroma and flavor of fruits and plants.

Our Solvent Free Terpene Flavors lineup features some exciting new terpene blends of rare and popular strains.

Certified Organic Materials

Meeting state specific regulatory guidelines surrounding pesticides has become a constant battle for many. Each state decides its own allowable limit for pesticides, and in almost all instances they are significantly more stringent than the FDA/EPA limits. As a result, many products containing natural essential oils are not able to pass state rules. To combat this we have shifted our products to only certified Organic Essential Oils when used.

Compliance Commitment

One of the many challenges our customers face when building brands that exist in multiple states is meeting each state’s individual compliance standards. We are committed to working with our customers to ensure that they are staying compliant within their own unique sets of regulatory constraints. Be it through customized creations or careful selections of our stock products, we strive to ensure β€œcannabis clean” products by navigating the ever changing cannabis space together.

Total Portfolio Product Safety

Quality, efficacy and safety remain our highest concerns. None of our products contain vitamin E acetate, squalene, triethyl citrate or mineral oil. In fact, all of our products are created and tested under rigorous standards and are on the Tobacco 599 list of existing and allowed additives in the highly regulated tobacco industry.

As part of our continued commitment to safety and transparency, we have done a complete portfolio review to further ensure that our products are devoid of any materials such as ethyl acetate and ethanol (common flavor ingredients unwanted in the cannabis space).Β

What are diluents?

Diluents, by scientific definition, are substances that dilute, or weaken, other substances that they're mixed with. They do this by essentially thinning out the other substance. Common examples of diluents include medium chain triglycerides (MCT oils), and propylene glycol (PG), which are also both substances that are commonly used in vape cartridges as a thinning agent.

Vape cartridges contain active extract material, terpenes, and a diluent. Our Solvent Free Terpenes contain zero thinning or diluting agents whatsoever, while our TasteBudds Flavors are based in either MCT or PG. Because of this, our terpenes are of the highest quality and are incredibly concentrated, and our diluent based flavors are highly concentrated as well, with a base concentration that's still 4-5 times stronger that most flavors today.
